New Forum: Cubicle 7 Entertainment
With a new version of Yoggie planned for later this month, we're still updating and revising the current version (of seven years) and with that comes the announcement of a new Publisher forum for Cubicle 7 Entertainment.
Cubicle 7 are well known for their titles such as Victoriana, Starblazer Adventures, Qin and the new Dr. Who RPG, but they are also a Chaosium licensee for Call of Cthulhu, having released the first in their Cthulhu Britannica series last year, and with a lot more planned (including a yet-to-be-officially-announced boxed set).
The forum is moderated by Cubicle 7's own Angus Abranson and Angus has already made an introductory post about some of the things to expect later this year.
So a warm welcome to Cubicle 7, and feel free to make good use of the new forum!

Chaosium MULA Monograph: Rise of the Dead II: The Raid
Chaosium have released the latest in their MULA monograph line: Rise of the Dead II: The Raid, a follow-on of sorts to Andre Kruppa's 2008 monograph Rise of the Dead.
Available immediately as a PDF and on Friday 7th May in print, Rise of the Dead II: The Raid is a convention scenario billed as having "highly detailed characters and handouts intended for a theatrical style presentation in a single long session". So if you're after some post/apocalyptic zombie-style Call of Cthulhu action it may be worth a look

Age of Cthulhu III: Shadows of Leningrad
Goodman Games have unleashed the third volume in their continuing classic-era Age of Cthulhu series, this time set in Mother Russia and entitled Shadows of Leningrad. The death of a brilliant artist summons the investigators to Leningrad, setting them in pursuit of a mystery older than Russia herself.
Goodman Games have released a five page PDF sample of Shadows of Leningrad as well as a promotional desktop wallpaper, which is sure to draw some attention at work
Shadows of Leningrad is also available as a PDF for those who lke the flexiblity of electronic editions.
Following some rather heated debates concerning Goodman Games previous release for Age of Cthulhu (Madness in London Town), it will be interesting to see the response to this new installment. You may also espy the names of a few Yoggie regulars listed in the "additional editors" section. Feel free to post your thoughts in the forums!

Strange Aeons II from Chaosium
Chaosium has released Strange Aeons II for Call of Cthulhu. The original Strange Aeons was published in 1995 and this supplement follows in its footsteps, providing further "forays into unusual times & places".
As with the original, Strange Aeons II is a multi-author work presenting nine wide-ranging scenarios - anything from the prehistoric to late antiquity to feudal Japan to Woodstock.
Initial reactions are very receptive and if you're looking for something a little different than the standard eras covered by CoC, then Strange Aeons II may be just the ticket.

'The Watchers in the Sky' for Trail of Cthulhu
Pelgrane Press have released The Watchers in the Sky a 36 page PDF scenario for Trail of Cthulhu by Graham Walmsley (with art by ToC regular Jerome Huguenin).
As with The Dying of St, Margaret's (also by Graham), this scenario follows the "Purist Style", so expect a dose of fun with a rather bleak outlook. :)
There's a discussion about The Watchers in the Sky in the Yoggie forums, including contributions from the author.

The Armitage Files for 'Trail of Cthulhu'
Pelgrane Press have released a new supplement for Trail of Cthulhu. The Armitage Files is an adventure supplement with a somewhat different approach to the norm. Players acquire clues in the form of 10 unusual documents and the Keeper improvises "suitable mind-blasting mysteries" in response.
Add to this some pre-prepared material such as supporting characters, organisations, locations & artefacts, plus an article on improvisation with the GUMSHOE system by Steve Dempsey (GBSteve) and it looks to be a very interesting mix indeed!
There's already discussion going on about The Armitage Files in the YSDC forums
